Photography, once “the art, science and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film, or electronically by means of an image sensor”.
Nowadays it seems like everybody is taking photos. A selfie here, a picture of your lunch there.
My passion for photography started long before the smartphone photos era.
It was the summer of 2003 and we were visiting the Merry Cemetery of Săpânța in Romania, when I asked my father for a camera to take my first photo, in a conscious way, not the common holiday photos.
Since that moment I owned and used different bridge, DSLR or consumer cameras.
The nice part about digital is: you can experiment a lot.
My gear at the moment? I mostly use (does it matter?) a Nikon D5000 (obsolete, I know 🙂 ) with a 18-200 Nikkor lens.
